Terms of service
Written so it can be opened mid-conversation and settle the question, rather than to be survived. Every clause below answers something that actually comes up.
What you are buying
A link placement service. You pay for links to be placed on the properties agreed in your order, reported with live URLs. You are not buying rankings, traffic, or a position in any search engine — nobody can sell those, and anyone offering them is guessing with your money.
Everything below applies to orders placed directly. Orders through Upwork are additionally governed by that platform's own terms, and its escrow takes precedence where the two differ.
Payment
Standard terms are 50% before work begins and 50% on delivery of the report. Placement starts once the first half clears.
Payment in USDT (TRC-20 or ERC-20), BTC, bank transfer, or through Upwork escrow if you would rather the money sat with a third party until delivery. Crypto invoices are priced in USD, and the rate is fixed at the moment the invoice is issued — not at the moment you pay.
Delivery and the report
Turnaround depends on order size and is quoted before you pay. If I am going to miss it, you hear that from me before the deadline, not after.
Delivery means a spreadsheet listing every placement: live URL, anchor, link type, DR, platform and date. That report is the record of what was delivered, and any later claim is checked against it.
Replacement guarantee — 6 months
If a delivered link is removed within 6 months of delivery, I replace it at no cost. Send me the URL; no screenshots, no explanation needed.
This includes the property dying. If the forum closes, the domain expires, or the whole site disappears, that is still a replacement. It is the most common way a link is lost and the one most vendors quietly exclude — here it is covered.
Replacements are made within 14 days of the claim. A replacement is a new placement of the same type and comparable metrics, not necessarily on the same property.
What the guarantee does not cover
Three situations, all of which are outside my control:
You changed or removed the target URL. The link is still live and still pointing where it was told to; it now lands on a 404 of your making.
Your site went down, or changed topic. A moderator removing a link because the destination stopped working or turned into something unrelated is a consequence of the destination, not the placement.
You requested an edit to the anchor or the post text, and the edited post was removed. Once the wording changes at your request, whether it survives is no longer a function of how it was written.
Refunds
Replacement is the primary remedy. Where a link cannot be delivered or cannot be replaced, the amount paid for those specific links is refunded — not the whole order, and not links that were delivered and are live.
If an order is cancelled before placement begins, the deposit is refunded in full. Once placement has begun, work already completed is invoiced and the remainder refunded.
Approval and declined work
Moderated-forum placements require the site to be approved before an order is accepted, and gambling, adult, betting, nutra and counterfeit are not sold on that tier at any price. Those verticals are welcome on the volume tiers at list price.
On the volume tiers there is no approval process. I may still decline an order I believe I cannot deliver, and I will say so before taking payment rather than after.
What is not promised
Rankings. Links are one input among many. If your site has a technical problem or thin content, links will not fix it, and I will tell you that before you pay rather than bill you and stay quiet.
Indexing. Indexing is an optional add-on and even then no percentage is guaranteed — nobody controls Google's crawl budget, and a vendor who claims otherwise is either lying or has not checked.
Permanence. Placements are on properties I do not own. The replacement window exists precisely because links on other people's websites sometimes disappear.
Confidentiality
Your site, your targets and your report are not shared with anyone, and clients are never used as public references without permission. Sample reports shown on this site have client names and target URLs removed.
White-label work is available: unbranded reports, and your own client never sees my name.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change for future orders. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published when the order was agreed, not a later version — if something here changes after you have paid, the old version is what holds.
